The Oregon State women's track and field team heads to the state capitol this Saturday for the Willamette Invitational. Competition starts at 9 a.m. at the Charles Bowles Track at McCulloch Stadium in Bush's Pasture Park.

Last time out
The Beavers captured first place at the OSU Pacific Northwest on March 19 in their last outing. OSU won 13 events, had 31 top-5 finishes and totaled 135 points to outdistance second-place Seattle University and the remainder of the eight-team field.
OSU field event winners were redshirt senior Keely McLaughlin (hammer, shot put); redshirt junior Jordynn Slater (javelin); redshirt freshman Jade Whitfield (discus); senior Emma Nelson (high jump); freshman Jaaden Steele (triple jump) and sophomore Chelsea Howard (long jump).
Winners on the track were freshman Jada Hurley (100); sophomore Delaney Bahn (100 hurdles); redshirt sophomore Paige Sefried (800) and graduate student Alyssa Foote (3000).
The 4x100 relay (sophomore Abby Buckley, Steele, freshman Chelsie Emmerson, Hurley) and 4x400 relay (junior Taylor Weidinger, Sefried, redshirt sophomore Jade Newton, sophomore Amber Jackson) also prevailed.
"It was a great opener and sets the table for our outdoor campaign," head coach Louie Quintana said.
