On Sunday, March 9, former Sprague High School standout Sophia Honse’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles.

The game took place at USI Softball Field. This was their third matchup against the Screaming Eagles this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 2 p.m. at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium against Saint Louis Billikens.
