On Sunday, March 23, former Sprague High School standout Sophia Honse’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, lost 12-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Tech Softball Field. This was their third matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 3 p.m. at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium against Drake Bulldogs.
