On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Sprague High School standout Sophia Honse’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the DePaul Blue Demons.
The game took place at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Blue Demons this season.
The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 13 at 4:30 p.m. at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium against Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners.
