2022: 57 coaches at institutions in Yamhill County earned on average $45,527

Yamhill County’s 57 coaches earned an average salary of $45,527 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the fifth highest average salary per county earned by coaches at Oregon post-secondary schools during 2022.

Yamhill County is home to two post-secondary schools that paid coaches during 2022. Among them, George Fox University stood out with the highest average coaching salary of $50,257.

Male coaches of men's teams received $46,523 on average in Yamhill County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $40,492.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
