The Registry shows five sex offenders living in Hood River County in April

There was an unchanged number of registered sex offenders living in Hood River County in April compared to the previous month, according to the Oregon Sex Offender Registry.

There were five sex offenders registered in Hood River County in April.

The Registry shows 27-year-old David Marshall Holcomb was the youngest sex offender living in Hood River County in April.

Benjamin Alexander Leary was the oldest at 42-years-old.

Oregon has the highest population-adjusted rate of sex offenders – about 749 per 100,000 people.

In 2020, about 11,487 unique victims of child abuse were reported in Oregon, but studies of victims have shown less than 30% of sex crimes are reported to law enforcement.
