Corban Men’s Wrestling Hanging with Conference Bests in Day 1 of CCC Championships
The first day of the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) Championships has come to a close, and multiple Warriors from the Corban University Men's Wrestling team will be competing for a trip to the NAIA National Championships tomorrow at Eagle Gym.
"Proud of the effort our guys have shown thus far," Warriors' Interim Head Coach Kary Hadden said regarding the day one results. "I'm excited to see what they have in store for us tomorrow with so many opportunities to advance to the national site on the line!"
Freshman Brayden Boyd, redshirt sophomore David Rubio, junior Matthew Bartlett, redshirt freshman German Munoz, and sophomore Tyson Stover have all advanced in their respective weight classes to day two of the tournament, with all five student-athletes still within grasp of clinching a trip to Wichita, Kansas in two short weeks.
