Amity School District will be saying goodbye
Amity School District will be saying goodbye after this school year to two longtime and well-respected building principals. Chris Daniels and Danielle Ludwick have both submitted their resignations as they head into retirement this next summer, each having served 30 years in education.
Danielle has spent her entire career in Amity, starting as a middle school teacher and then moving to the elementary school as principal for 12 years. She has spent her entire professional life seeking to serve kids and families, dedicating herself above and beyond expectations to helping our children have an excellent and well-rounded elementary education.
Chris has been a part of the Warrior family since coming from Hood River County SD in 2009 to become the Amity HS principal. His 14 years in this position have seen tremendous program development and growth in many areas. The stability and leadership that Chris has brought to the high school has been greatly appreciated by the district, his staff and parents.
Both Chris and Dani will be greatly missed, though I am quite sure we will see them around Amity regularly, as we all know well that once you are part of the Warrior family, you are always part of it!
