On November 17, 2022, Hubbard officer Mark Wai, spoke to the kindergarten classes at the North Marion School District. He spoke on using 911 for emergencies, to be careful around animals that are out and about, wearing bike helmets, using your safety belt, not to play with fire and to never touch a firearm and go get an adult. Officer Wai encouraged participation and allowed some students to put on his external vest!
