Of the 2,180 people living in Carlton in 2019, 49.3 percent (1,075) were women and 50.7 percent (1,105) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Mid Valley Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 684-to-630. In the 65 and over age range, there were 244 females and 124 males.
