About 22.6 percent of the 1,146 degrees and certificates handed out by George Fox University in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Newberg conferred 165 bachelor's degrees and 85 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in teacher education, multiple levels. Data shows the school gave out 99 master's degrees in teacher education, multiple levels, followed by 98 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management and 85 master's degrees in general business administration and management.

The university enrolled 3,941 students for 2017-18, including 2,671 in undergraduate programs and 1,270 in graduate programs.
