On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Sprague High School standout Sophia Honse’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Green Bay Phoenix.

The game took place at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Phoenix this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 11:25 a.m. at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex against Butler Bulldogs.
