On Saturday, March 1, former McMinnville High School standout Brynn McManus’ current college team, the Liberty Lady Flames, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Appalachian State Mountaineers.

The game took place at Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Mountaineers this season.

The Lady Flames’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 at 3 p.m. at Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium against James Madison Dukes.
