On Sunday, Feb. 23, former South Salem High School standout Mackenzie Scott’s current college team, the UCCS Mountain Lions, lost 10-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Colorado Christian Cougars.

The game took place at All Star Park. This was their fourth matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Mountain Lions’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12 p.m. at Mountain Lion Field against Chadron State Eagles.
