On Saturday, March 1, former South Salem High School standout Emma Cordero’s current college team, the Western Oregon Wolves, lost 11-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Grand Valley State Lakers.

The game took place at Legends Way Ballfields. This was their first matchup against the Lakers this season.

The Wolves’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 9 a.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against SNHU Penmen.
