On Saturday, Feb. 8, former South Salem High School standout Mackenzie Scott’s current college team, the UCCS Mountain Lions, lost 8-7 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the West Texas A&M Buffaloes.

The game took place at Schaeffer Park. This was their second matchup against the Buffaloes this season.

The Mountain Lions’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 12 p.m. at Mountain Lion Field against Colorado Mines Orediggers.
