On Friday, May 2, former South Salem High School standout Mackenzie Scott’s current college team, the UCCS Mountain Lions, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Metro State Roadrunners.

The game took place at All Star Park. This was their fifth matchup against the Roadrunners this season.

The Mountain Lions’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 4 p.m. at All Star Park against Colorado Mesa Mavericks.
