Cole Weiland, former South Salem High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Saturday, May 17 in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship

On Saturday, May 17, former South Salem High School standout Cole Weiland’s current collegiate team the Whitworth Pirates won 9-10 against the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Alumni Field at 8:30 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens in the tournament.

The Whitworth Pirates’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 8:30 a.m. at Alumni Field.
