Christine Drazan, a political figure in Oregon, has recently used her social media platform to mobilize voters and criticize current state leadership. In a series of posts between May 15 and May 18, 2026, Drazan addressed economic concerns and encouraged voter participation ahead of an upcoming election.
On May 15, Drazan commented on the economic situation in Florence, Oregon. She stated: “Oregonians in Florence are excited and ready to fire Tina Kotek in November! High taxes, overregulation and radical politicians are forcing Main Street to close up shop – eliminating thousands of jobs, especially on the Oregon Coast. For Oregon to be the best place to start a https://t.co/GFB5RL6Xk8”.
Continuing her outreach efforts, Drazan joined volunteers on May 16 to promote voting. She posted: “Joined @TeamDrazan volunteers this morning in Gladstone to help Get Out The Vote! Vote by May 19th and find an official drop box location near you here: https://t.co/rAKT19yXPb https://t.co/yqp2aryU3W”.
On May 18, she urged Oregonians not to delay submitting their ballots. Her message read: “Is that ballot still sitting on your kitchen counter? Well it’s time to vote and drop it off at a local drop box! I’m running to cut taxes and lower everyday costs for families, unleash our economy, restore public safety, fix our schools and ensure our government is accountable https://t.co/dK2pxeAS6K”.
These statements come as Oregon approaches a significant election period. Christine Drazan has previously served as Minority Leader in the Oregon House of Representatives and was the Republican nominee for governor in 2022. Tina Kotek currently serves as Governor of Oregon after winning the office in that election cycle.
